In 2001, Pittard Sullivan closed and the last few employees there renamed the studio as Troika Design Group, and acquired Ca-Square, in New York. Troika Design Group's first project was the ABC 2001-2002 primetime identity, which was characterized by its use of yellow and black. In 2003, the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum included Troika Design Group and its work on the ABC 2001-2002 Primetime identity in the National Design Triennial.[3]

In 2004, Troika Design Group designed the show package for ESPN25, a special event conducted to mark the 25th anniversary of ESPN. That show package went on to win a 2004 National Association of Television Arts & Sciences Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Graphic Design.[4]. In December 2008, Troika was the featured company for a Lynda.com[5] Creative Inspirations documentary.

Troika Design Group’s most recent projects include the launch of Root Sports[6], The Hub[7], KCET's cumpers and ids, ESPN's College Football rebrand[8], FOX Sports's NFL on FOX 2010 Identity, the CW's 2009 brand refresh, and ESPN's 2009 SportsCenter refresh (Although TSN received the latter package).[9].
