Troika Design Group is a broadcast design and network branding agency based in Hollywood, CA. Founded in 1986 as Pittard Sullivan, Troika is owned by Chuck Carey and Dan Pappalardo and specializes in design, branding and positioning for clients within the media and entertainment industries.

In 2001, Pittard Sullivan closed and the last few employees there renamed the studio as Troika Design Group, and acquired Ca-Square, in New York. Troika Design Group's first project was the ABC 2001-2002 primetime identity, which was characterized by its use of yellow and black. In 2003, the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum included Troika Design Group and its work on the ABC 2001-2002 Primetime identity in the National Design Triennial.[3]
In 2004, Troika Design Group designed the show package for ESPN25, a special event conducted to mark the 25th anniversary of ESPN. That show package went on to win a 2004 National Association of Television Arts & Sciences Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Graphic Design.[4]. In December 2008, Troika was the featured company for a Lynda.com[5] Creative Inspirations documentary.
Troika Design Group’s most recent projects include the launch of Root Sports[6], The Hub[7], KCET's cumpers and ids, ESPN's College Football rebrand[8], FOX Sports's NFL on FOX 2010 Identity, the CW's 2009 brand refresh, and ESPN's 2009 SportsCenter refresh (Although TSN received the latter package).[9].
